Joan Sutton founded Connections for Seniors, LLC. Joan, who holds a Master's Degree in Gerontology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Cognitive Stimulation Instructor, has passionately worked with seniors and caregivers for over twenty years in various roles and settings. As a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association, Joan has led a monthly caregiver support group since 2000. Her unique ability to connect with and advocate for seniors and caregivers, along with her hands-on approach, have led to innovative and positive outcomes. With a creative, passionate and skilled team of recreational therapists and activity professionals, Connections for Seniors, LLC has improved the quality of life for memory-impaired residents of the Northern VA area since 2009.
